Professor David Lange

Professor David Lange works on structural materials problems, seeking to better understand the behavior of new concrete as it gains its strength and old concrete when the harsh environment tests its durability. He is Director of the Center of Excellence for Airport Technology, a research center that works with FAA and the O’Hare Modernization Program. He also serves as Associate Head for Undergraduate Affairs in CEE, and recruits new students to civil engineering and advises current students about their class work.
