Professor Harry Hilton

Professor Emeritus Hilton was Department Head for Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from 1974-1985 and Assistant Dean of Engineering summers 1989 & 1990. From 1997 – 2001 and again in 2007 he has been a Charles E. Schmidt Distinguished Visiting Professor, Florida Atlantic University and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received is BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering from New York University and Ph.D. in Theoretical & Applied Mechanics (mathematics minor) from the University of Illinois.
